Activity Leader: Action Synergy.
Regarding the quality assurance of the project, two main procedures are going to be implemented; one regarding the quality of the results and one regarding the quality of the process. The quality of the results is evaluated internally by the project partners and externally by the final beneficiaries (teachers) and the stakeholders (schools, school authorities, education experts etc). The quality of the process is going to be evaluated internally by the project partners. All the partners are going to provide the activity coordinators with constant and ongoing feedback regarding the quality of the products, fact which is expected to lead to a lot and immediate improvements. A major tool that will be used for the organisation of the quality procedures of the project is the Quality Assurance Plan. The Quality Assurance Plan is a document that will be produced at the beginning of the project and which will describe all the methods and techniques for the monitoring of the progress of the project as well as the procedures for decision making, procedures for carrying out tasks, documentation system, tools to be used etc.
The basis of the evaluation of the project will be the Evaluation Strategy and Framework, a document which describes for every work package what has to be evaluated, how is going to be evaluated, when is going to be evaluated, the indicators that will be used for the evaluation and the success indicators. When it is possible, the evaluation plan will set quantitative indicators for the evaluation, when it is not, the indicators set are qualitative.
The quality of the project results will be evaluated against the indicators set in the
Evaluation Strategy and Framework. Regarding the evaluation of the process of the project, all the partners will be asked to fill in questionnaires about the quality of the meeting after each meeting and about the quality of the partnership and the project management every 4 months. Also, each WP coordinator will be asked to evaluate the process of their WP after its completion. The quality of the processes will be measured also on the basis of other objective indicators such as partners’ commitment (responsiveness of the partners to the requests of the coordinator or of other partners) and the responsibilities, activities and deliverables control (degree of completion of the tasks of each partner, degree of completion of the products of the project). Regarding the evaluation of the quality of the 35 products, the quality of all the deliverables of the project will be measured on the basis of questionnaires which are going to be compiled first by the project stakeholders and then by the final beneficiaries. The summary of the findings of all these evaluation procedures will be
presented at the Final Evaluation Report of the project. The results of all the evaluation procedures have been taken into account when planning the next activities of the project (next meetings, manual etc.). A formative evaluation report will also be produced at the beginning of the project in order to identify issues that have to be dealt with from the beginning of the project, so corrective action would take place as quickly as possible and avoid problems later.
