2nd Phase

Each group then brings all the words they have been given to make a short story related to each word. For example, Group A needs to make a story from Banana, Table, Elephant, Bike, Swimming, Peace and Sweden. Each group can use one extra word in their story. It should have a beginning, middle and an end. Each group has time to prepare the story and practice. Then each group presents to others.

3rd Phase
After each presentation the teacher asks some reflection questions; What was the strategy you used when you received this task? How did you feel? What was the main challenge?  Each group of students present to the other groups and explain which words were involved and what does the story tells us.

4th Phase

The teacher brings 3 images which are related to current history. Each group receives one. Each group can ask some questions about it. How, why, when, where, what. After the discussion each group prepares a role-play presentation based upon the image. Extra roles can be added if there are not enough for all the students. Each group could have time to prepare maybe on a previous day. They prepare a role-play and then they show the other students. They finish each role-play with the same image frame that they are assigned to.

5th Phase

The teacher asks questions for the students to reflect upon the historical moments and how these moments evolved.

*Optional: Each group can prepare a role-play of what happened later on and present it to the others in the end.
