The desks are put aside. There must be empty space in the middle.

Phase 1

Students must have studied the multiplication and division table.

The Teacher says: Today, at this moment, we will travel by an unusual train to the country of Numberland. You will be the wagons of this train. I will be its engine. But to get to Numberland successfully, you must be extremely careful during our journey.

The students will count from 1 to as many as the teacher says. Some of the numbers should be replaced by the following: puff, paff or puff-paff.
The numbers that are divided into 3 for example: 3, 6, 9, 12, 15, etc. instead of the number when counting, the child should say “puff”. The numbers that are divided into 5, for example: 5, 10, 15, 20, etc. are replaced by the word “paff”. The numbers that are divided into 3 and 5 at the same time, for example: 15 and 30 are replaced by the word “puff-paff”.

 Phase 2

The children are arranged in a circle facing the circle. The teacher is inside it. The teacher points a student who starts the counting and tells the final number – for example, 40.

The teacher says: “The train is leaving the station. The students must stand in a column one behind the other. The counting starts from one, with each student saying the sequence number. For example:1, 2 “puff”, 4, “paff”, “puff”, 7, 8, “puff”, “paff”, 11, “puff”, 13, 14, puff-paff and etc.

If one of the students slows down with the answer or is mistaken, he/she “burns” out of the game.

Phase 3

You can make a further round with the numbers that are divided into 2 and 4. Different words can be used, such as “ram”, “zam”, “ram-zam”, “tik, tack, tick-tack” or whatever the teacher decides.

Phase 4

The game can be played as a competition between two teams.
