Stage 1-2: Classroom

Stage 3-4: gym

Phase 1

Teacher explains the subject to the students through some examples on the blackboard. A debate can be held to describe the actions done  in the courtyard, in the classroom and in the canteen.

Phase 2

At  the end of the debate they all have identified the actions that occur most frequently during their everyday life and  they choose the ones that are easy to represent through gestures. The teacher, after writing them on the blackboard,  asks them to identify  the subject that carries out said actions (e.g. cook / kitchen, student / writes …). The subjects (which are blue) and the actions (red) identified should then be written on sheets (one per sheet).

Phase 3

The students move over to the gym and the teacher explains the game. The sheets made in step 2 will be handed down to each child. There will be someone with the subject sheet and some with the action sheet. Children are then divided into two subject / action groups. Children with the action sheet will make an impression of what is  written on his/her sheet while the children with the subject sheet will have to locate the child who is performing the corresponding action.(E.g.: the child with the subject Chef will have to locate the child who is making an impression of cooking). When the child with the subject sheet thinks he has identified the partner with the corresponding action sheet, he/she approaches and  they form a  couple.

Phase 4

When all pairs are formed the teacher verifies the result of the game. They all discuss and confront their experience and, if there are any mistakes, the teacher will ask the children to correct them.
