Phase 1The teacher introduces the topic giving evidence to the experiences that the children can live in their life (for example: they were born, they are now at school, they will become adults). She/he speaks with them about what they do every day, paying attention to the relation between events (what happens before, now and in the end?). |

Phase 2The teacher divides the children into 4 groups. She/he proposes four fairy tales titles and asks the children to remeber their plots. They have to tell the tales paying attention to the temporal sequence. |

Phase 3Each group receives the sheets with the parts of a fairy tale and it tries to play the tale: some children will play what happens first, some others what happens after the first scene and in the end. |
Phase 4The teacher pays attention to the role of temporal sequences, in order to understand the relations between the events. |
