Phase 1The lesson is located at the theater class and the teacher gives the first knowledge and information about the drama action. According to this drama, scouts are going to an excursion on a mountain. The teacher divides the students in groups of four and elaborates the drama actions.Firstly, the 3 groups are responsible for the preparation of three meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner). The 4th group is responsible for the information and has the control of the accounts, (they work as the secretariat) with the teacher. The teacher explains the details about this freestyle performance. The 1st group takes a recipe of a breakfast, which is referred to 4 people. They must make accounts for each ingredient in order to write a new recipe which must be enough for 24 people. For example: Ingredients for pan-cakes (breakfast), serves 4
The scouts must make the above recipe to serve 24 people. The students have already adapted the ingredients to metric system 1 kilo =1000 gr, I cup = 250 gr, 1 teaspoon=5gr etcThe 2nd group must take a recipe of lunch, which is referred to 4 people. They must make accounts for each ingredient in order to write a new recipe which must be enough for 24 people. For example: ingredients for lunch, serves 4:

Phase 2The teacher’s bell rings and the first group starts the trip. The scouts wear the school bags and pretend to be climbing on the mountain. They follow the path towards the shelter while enjoying the nice weather, the cold air, and of course being hungry. After a while they will be on a shelter and they must make a new recipe which serves 24 children and for this reason they start write down the conversions.Teacher’s bell rings again and action freezes. At the same time, the secretarial works (for example observes and checks the conversions). The other groups are observing.Teacher’s bell rings again and the second group starts moving again towards the scene of theater. The second group plays their role and the journey begins.Teacher’s bell rings again and actions freezes. A secretarial works on a new group. The same action continues until all groups have finished their travels. The secretarial will present the right conversions and the wrong conversions. |

Phase 3In the end, everyone stands in a circle and present possible questions, expressing their feelings about the actions. This phase is also necessary for the teacher to receive feedback and to design similar actions. |
