Phase 1In the first phase the lesson takes place in the classroom in a traditional way. The teacher actuates students to observe the photos on their books carefully. Then the teacher makes some certain questions which give the first knowledge and information about mountain scenery. (The teacher follows book’s introduction)Then the teacher asks students to bring the above mentioned materials at the theatre class. In the theatre class the teacher presents an hypothetic condition which take place on a mountain. The students should play pantomime and represent different kinds of life which are situated on the mountain.For this reason the teacher divides students in three groups, and elaborates the drama actions. The first group should be portray with their bodies the animals which live in a mountain (for example the turtle, the rabbit , the lizard, etc. . The second group should be portray with their bodies the trees with branches, the bushes and other plants. Finally the third group should be portray the mountains climbers who wear the school bags, the hats and hold the rope.Teacher says the details about this freestyle performance and becomes a narrator – director of the excursion at the top of mountain. Teacher gives information about the mountain scenery and encourages each group to play pantomime through freestyle techniques .(it will be an interesting adventure on a mountain) |

Phase 2Teacher’s bell rings and the plants are placed on the stage (freezing picture)Teacher’s bell rings again and animals are placed on the stage and move among the plants and trees.Teacher’s bell rings again and the mountain climbers with their necessary equipment start climb at the top of the mountain using the stairs (left and right of the stage.They pretend climbing on a real mountain, using their ropes in order to pull up the other members, also they try to avoid the branches, walking carefully because there are stones and small rivers.At the same time sounds of birds and wind are boomed from cd player.Teacher’s bell rings again and actions freezes. |

Phase 3In the 3rd phase the teacher introduces the new condition, asks from the children to change roles. The mountain climbers become animals which present again a role playing with specific movements. Everybody has attitude to show how real this situation is and how many difficulties there are on the mountains .Teacher’s bell rings again and the actions freezes.Furthermore at each change, the same events happen again. The teacher asks stundents to take pleasure and feel deep this adventure. The teacher introduces brainstorming techniques in order to accomplish this theatrical scene as better as they can. |

Phase 4In the end, all students stand in a circle and present possible questions, express their feelings during actions and discus this experience. |
