The 12th elementary school of Halandri is a public school which caters for 260 students 6-12 years old (1st-6th grades) providing general education. It has 28 full and staff members. It is registered with the Greek Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs.

Theatre education is taught as a separate subject in all grades. Our experience shows that theatre education helps students open up, express their feelings and ultimately assists them greatly in learning while doing things.  We expect that through the proposed programme, theatre/drama techniques and methods will be incorporated into everyday teaching. Children enjoy learning while playing. Theatre/drama techniques and methods create an unconventional framework which breaks everyday routine and alters the classroom atmosphere.

Konstantinos Loukeris is the principle of the school. He has studied pedagogy, modern history and political science. He has lived and worked in Netherlands, Ethiopia and the USA.
