 Phase 1

Hello, third class,

I am Captain The One-Eye Shark.

They call me that because I lost my left eye in battle, and the shark bit my right leg and left hand. I was the scorpion of the sea and I managed to gather tremendous riches. But I’m old …

My memory and vision are cheating. I’m moving hard. Help me find my treasure and give you half. I remember the coordinates of the area where we buried it. I’ll tell you, and you’ll find them and score points on the map. I hope I can remember the exact location.

Let’s start!

Phase 2

Questions:

Point A will find you when you leave number 7 and make 5 paces up.

Point B will find you when you leave the number 11 and make 7 paces up.

Point C will find you when you leave number 3 and make 8 paces up.

Now connect the buckets A, B and C. A figure is formed.

Yo-hi-hik …! You will only get the treasure if you know the triangle according to its angles and sides!

Phase 3

The teacher explains to the students that the figure that formed after joining points A, B and C is a triangle.

Explains to the students that according to the angles the triangles are divided into; 1.Rectangular triangles 2.Tangle triangles 3.Outangular triangles.

Explains which triangle is rectangular.

 – A triangle on which one of the corners is right is called a rectangle.

Specifies a student to repeat the definition and a number of triangles of a different type to indicate which of them is rectangular.

Explains which triangle is intangible.

A triangle in which one of the corners is dull is called a right angle. Specifies a student to repeat the definition from a number of triangles of different types, to indicate which one is tangent.

 Explains which triangle is angled.

A triangle, on which the three corners are sharp, is called angled. Specifies a student to repeat the definition by several triangles of different kinds, indicating which of them is angular.

Phasa 4

Students  help the teacher return the classroom back to its normal appearance.
